They would think they are being feminine and emotional and weak, moreover, they would think these gays would be fantasizing about the military men or the men in uniform. If otherwise, they are often insulted to be less man than they are and that is why gays are frowned upon in the academy. Because they are expected to be tough and strong and brave and those are the qualities expected from men. They have to dominant and assertive, even women in the military cannot be feminine. Military academy or the military sector requires all men to be the manliest they can be.
